Love Data Week 2026 is an international initiative celebrating the value, reuse, and openness of research data. Taking place from Monday 9 to Friday 13 February, the week highlights best practices, tools, and experiences in research data management across disciplines.

As part of the Swiss programme, Lib4RI will contribute five online coffee lectures, offering short and practical insights into different aspects of research data management. Each session runs daily from 13:00 to 13:30 and focuses on a specific tool, topic, or real-world experience.

SIB will contribute to Love Data Week through a dedicated coffee lecture on Thursday 12 February, presented by Séverine Duvaud (Biodata Resources, SIB):

Galaxy Swiss: Enabling Reproducible, Interdisciplinary Data Analysis for Swiss Researchers

Galaxy is an open platform supporting seamless data analysis for researchers. This session introduces Galaxy Swiss, the national Galaxy instance designed to support researchers across Switzerland. After a brief overview of the Galaxy project and its mission, the talk will include a guided tour of the interface and a demonstration of a simple analysis workflow. The session will conclude with practical information on how to register, access training resources, and join the Swiss Galaxy community.
