This workshop will bring together an international and interdisciplinary community to address key challenges in integrating and interpreting multi-modal biological data across scales. Building on a successful series of previous meetings, it will explore how artificial intelligence can advance biological research, bridging classical statistical modelling with modern AI approaches.

Key topics include multi-modal data integration, deep learning for high-dimensional data analysis, multi-scale modelling, and the use of AI for biological knowledge discovery and experimental design.

The event aims to foster collaboration between method developers and discovery-driven researchers and actively encourages participation from early-career scientists, with opportunities for poster presentations and contributed talks.

Maria Brbić (EPFL, SIB Group Leader) is among the keynote speakers.

The SIB Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics is proud to support this event, which is organized by Niko Beerenwinkel and Valentina Boeva (ETH, SIB Group Leaders).
