The 18th Scientific Days of RFMF will be held in 2026 at Lille Grand Palais. This annual international congress gathers approximately 250 participants from academia, hospitals, and industry for four days of scientific exchange in the fields of metabolomics and fluxomics. The meeting is conducted in both French and English, reflecting its strong Francophone and
international reach.

The programme includes two and a half days of plenary lectures, thematic sessions, and oral presentations, totaling around 40 talks, as well as flash communications, poster sessions, and sponsor presentations. A pre-congress satellite day is dedicated to hands-on workshops and round tables, organized through an open call for proposals and validated by the RFMF board. These training sessions are integrated into the registration and aim to strengthen technical and computational skills within the community.

The 2026 edition will feature renowned international speakers from Europe, providing a dynamic platform for discussion, networking, and collaboration. A particular emphasis will be placed on highlighting the work of early-career researchers through dedicated sessions and the presentation of the annual PhD award.

This year’s guiding theme will explore the position of metabolomics and fluxomics within the “One Health” framework promoted by the World Health Organization (WHO), the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH), the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). The congress will also continue to showcase
methodological and technological advances that drive innovation in the metabolomics and fluxomics fields.
