19th Annual International Biocuration Conference

In partnership with the African Genomics Data Hub (AfriGen-D) and the Sickle Africa Data Coordinating Center (SADaCC), the African Bioinformatics Institute (ABI) is proud to be involved in the 19th Annual International Biocuration Conference of the International Society of Biocuration (ISB).

This will be the first time the conference is hosted on the African continent and will take place from 20 to 24 April 2026 in Cape Town, South Africa.

The conference provides an international forum for curators, developers, and users of clinical and life sciences data, knowledge, and models to present their work, exchange ideas, promote collaboration, and strengthen the global biocuration community.

The conference is organized in collaboration with the International Society of Biocuration (ISB).

The SIB Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics is proud to support this conference.
