In this 2023 factsheet, discover key contributions of the Swiss Personalized Health Network initiative to make health data FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) for secondary use. The project is led by the Swiss Academy of Medical Sciences and SIB and is strengthening Switzerland’s position in personalized health research.

SIB is involved in this initiative of unprecedented scale in Switzerland through its Personal Health Informatics group – in charge of the SPHN-Data Coordination Centre (SPHN-DCC) and of the BioMedIT network – and thanks to tight collaborations and expertise exchange within our Swiss-wide community (e.g. on the legal front).
