LS² Annual Meeting 2027

The LS² Annual Meeting 2027 will feature the mini-symposium “AI-enabled Exploration of Biological Interactions and Networks”, organized by the LS² Intersection Bioinformatics, a joint initiative between Life Sciences Switzerland (LS²) and SIB Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics.

SIB Group Leader Katja Bärenfaller (Molecular Allergology)  is among the organizers of the mini-symposium, which will include an invited talk by SIB Group Leader Martin Pacesa (Institute of Pharmacology), on “Accurate design of protein binders”. His presentation will feature BindCraft, an open-source computational pipeline for de novo protein binder design that he co-developed and that was selected as one of the SIB Remarkable Outputs 2025.

Researchers are invited to submit abstracts to the Bioinformatics section for consideration for an oral presentation at the mini-symposium. Abstract submitters will also have the opportunity to present a poster and participate in the poster prize competition.
