Biology27

Biology27 brings together students, researchers and professors from scientific institutions, research groups and diverse areas of biology to exchange ideas and explore current developments in the field. The conference also serves as the annual joint meeting of the Swiss Zoological, Botanical and Systematics Societies.

SIB supports the conference and will be present with a booth. 

As part of the programme, Daniele Silvestro, SIB Member in the Computational Evolution Group at ETH Zurich, will present how AI can be used to support biodiversity research and conservation, with examples from supervised and reinforcement learning.
