SIB PhD Training Network Retreat: Training Network Alumni Career

This course is exclusively reserved to the members of the SIB PhD Training Network.

Overview

The SIB PhD Training Network Retreat is an annual informal and interactive event offering the opportunity to their members (students of the Swiss Schools of Higher Education registered as SIB members) to meet their peers and present their PhD project (or possibly their master project for students who have just started).

Every two years, the Retreat features a special event where SIB alumni share their career journeys after completing a PhD. This event aims to showcase the wide range of opportunities available after completing a PhD, including testimonials on career transitions and professional redirections.

Objectives of the event

• Gain a broader perspective on the diverse -and sometimes unexpected- career paths.
• Learn about the profiles of the institutions and companies represented by the invited speakers.
• Network with fellow students and speakers, fostering connections that may lead to career opportunities
