International Genome Graph Symposium 2024
Monte Verita, Ascona - June 30 - July 4, 2024
This second edition of the International Genome Graph Symposium keeps its focus on the advances of genome graphs and their applications in the biomedical field. In addition to the traditional topics of genome graph representations and computational methods on graphs, we newly added a dedicated session on non-human pan-genome applications and metagenomics. The area of pangenomics is thriving and we are looking forward to welcoming international experts in Ascona for a fruitful scientific exchange, continuing to build a platform for innovations on representing genomic variability.
Also at this IGGSy we will be host to a meeting of the Human PanGenome Projct (HPP). As a reaction to the great interest in the work of thr Human Pangenome Reference Consortium during our last symposium, the HPP-associated presentations now form a dedicated session within IGGSy. As before, any outcomes will be made available on the global pangenome website. If you are a member of the HPP, please indicate this during registration. Of course, we welcome all HPP members to also attend all other sessions of the conference. You can find further details in our program.
