Abstract submission

Abstract for short oral presentation and posters must be submitted using the EasyChair Submission Form. Abstract submitted by e-mail, fax or any other mean will not be considered.

Submission guidelines:

Short Oral Presentation Track (deadline 15 August)

We invite short talks (10-15 min) by young scientists for our special NGS (Next Generation Scientists) section. Submitters must be PhD students or PostDoc graduated in 2014 or later.

An extended abstract (max 5 pages) must be submitted to the EasyChair Oral Presentation Track submission site. Submissions should include the following:

  • Name/affiliation/email of presenting author. The presenter should register for the conference.
  • Title.
  • At least three keywords (also known as key phrases or key terms) to characterize your submission.
  • The date of your PhD degree (or an estimate if a student).
  • 5 pages extended abstract in PDF format. Section titles (Introduction, Material and Methods, Result) as well as figures and tables can be used but are not mandatory. References can be added at the end of the document but within the 5 pages limit.

IMPORTANT: the presenter must be registered for the conference at submission time.

Poster Track (deadline 15 September)

A 300-word full abstract must be submitted to the EasyChair Poster Track submission site. Submissions should include the following:

  • Name/affiliation/email of presenting author.
  • Names/affiliations/email of all co-authors. Note that all co-authors have to agree to the submission. It is the responsibility of the submitter to guarantee that all co-author email addresses are correct (email notifications of the submission will be sent to all co-authors).
  • Title.
  • At least three keywords (also known as key phrases or key terms) to characterize your submission.
  • 300-word abstract (the abstract should not contain your title/position or any personal information (e.g. affiliation).

IMPORTANT: the presenter must be registered for the conference at submission time.

Depending on the number of attendees, space for posters may be limited. Selection will be based on submission date and time. For this reason, we advise you to submit your poster as soon as possible.
