The SIB community actively contributes to shaping the national scientific landscape. One nice recent example is the funding success of several projects involving SIB Members to develop Open Research Data practice across Switzerland.
Another is the prominent role of SIB Group Leaders in the new Scientific Advisory Panel to advise the government on mitigating COVID-19, including Tanja Stadler (President), Jacques Fellay (Vice-President), as well as Richard Neher. The panel recently released a report on how to handle COVID-19 and other respiratory viruses in the future.
Find below more updates on the diverse range of activities and awards of our colleagues, such as recent collaborations to foster discoveries in oncology and a Swiss Reproducibility award. |
