By way of our research and development, we make bioinformatics approaches available to a wider audience. On the one hand we design and provide simpler and unified interfaces for special bioinformatics algorithms, on the other we provide performance assessments that guide researchers in the choice of bioinformatics algorithms.
Additionally, we collaborate with researchers who wish to leverage Next-Generation Sequencing data to answer research questions in the areas of molecular biology, systems biology, biomedical research and precision medicine. We especially support approaches that rely on single cell or other low input approaches.


In a response to the high diversity of tools in the area of Next-Generation Sequencing, we have developed the R package ezRun that provides an R-based interface to commonly used NGS commandline applications.
