The SIB PhD Training Network is dedicated to offering network opportunities and cutting-edge training events to SIB PhD students.
- If you are a PhD student supervised or co-supervised by an SIB group leader:
Your group leader or a member of the administrative staff of your group must register you with the SIB administration. You will then automatically become a member of the PhD Training Network.
As a member of the SIB PhD Training Network, you are expected to participate actively in the programme and to attend the yearly SIB PhD Retreat and at least one summer or winter school during your PhD studies.
- If you are an external PhD student interested in joining the SIB PhD Training Network:
You can join the SIB PhD Training Network by filling in the admission form below and submitting a letter of reference (or email) from an SIB Group Leader.
As an external member of the SIB PhD Training Network, you are expected to participate actively in the programme and to attend at least one SIB PhD Training Network event such as the Retreat, a course, a workshop or the SIB Days. With the exception of the Retreat, you will pay the full fees and expenses to attend SIB PhD Training Network events.
